The river Turkawell, where people were baptised, this weekend. Keshule went to the village of Napak this weekend and in the Second village he and James baptised 25 people. The time in the village was really good for Keshule to teach, and preach and encourage the believers there. Keshule was moved by how well the literacy project is going and the rate at which people are learning to read. Already from the first group of ten, four are able to read God's word. Please, continue to pray for village ministry of THATmission and the work of God in Napak and the surrounding area.

People going to the river and people on the river bank praising God as people gather.

The 'candidates' getting ready to be baptised. and Keshule and James getting set to start the 'dipping'!!!!
Three pictures of praying for people, as they make a declaration of faith.
These two young men below, were well known as thieves in the area. God has turned their lives around and they want now to follow Jesus. Pray for them that they will know God in very personal ways!!

Post Baptism group pictures, on the river bank.

Walking Back from the river - through thte maize fields (no reason these people should be hungry, Goverment should bring seed variety rather than relief HERE!!!!) The young man with a whitish t - shirt is who we are praying for to be part of the Church leadership from the Second village - he's called John.

Some of the people relaxing after the Baptism service (waiting for some lunch!! - Yummy goat meat and Ugali)

In Napak we had a church ser ice on Sunday to which ,many fron the second village attended. We commissioned them and had a good time of praise and worship. Napak has done some 'improvemnets' to the church, those with sharp eyes will notice the 'lectern' for resting bibles and what not on!!!!

Handing over the gift that we bought from a donation made in Kenya (thanks Wangare), it is a solor phone charger, like the one we bought for Napak Church.
